Vienna (OTS/RK) – The Liesing District Museum (23rd, Canavesegasse 24) invites you to a lively “New Year’s Concert” with the music ensemble “Wiener Damenkapelle Johann Strauß” on Friday, January 12th. The sonorous evening begins at 7 p.m. Admission is free. You can now order counting tickets for this event by calling 0664/187 84 87.
Maria Rom (piano), Gisela Lackinger (cello) and Ruth Müller (violin) interpret pieces by Johann Strauss and other important tone poets. The repertoire of the formation, which has been successful at home and abroad since 1995, extends from Strauß to Schubert, Lehar and Lanner.
