With effect from April 1, 2025 at the latest, the shareholders’ committee of Voith Management GmbH has appointed Dirk Hoke as Chairman of the Group Management Board (CEO) of Voith GmbH & Co. KGaA. He is the successor to the long-time chairman of the group management, Dr. Toralf Haag, who left the company on August 31, 2024. Until Dirk Hoke starts, Andreas Endters will take over the acting management of the Voith Group in addition to his duties as CEO Voith Paper.
In his 30-year career on five continents, Dirk Hoke (55) took on management positions in the aviation, automotive and technology industries, with a strong focus on digitalization. After studying mechanical engineering at the TU Braunschweig, he began his professional career in 1994 at the Renault automobile company in Paris. Between 1996 and 2016 he worked at Siemens, where he held various C-level leadership positions, including CEO of Siemens Africa, CEO Industrial Solutions, CEO Customer Services and most recently as CEO Large Drives. He then took over the management of Airbus Defense and Space as CEO and in this role was also a member of the Airbus Global Executive Committee. Since September 2022, Dirk Hoke has been CEO of Volocopter GmbH, based in Bruchsal.
Dirk Hoke is a member of the Chancellor’s Future Council, which deals with the innovative strength of Germany as a business location. He is also an alumnus of the Young Global Leader Program of the World Economic Forum Davos.
