Vienna (OTS/SPW) – In around five weeks – from June 21st to 23rd, 2024 – the Vienna Danube Island Festival will once again invite you to a colorful mix of music and a varied supporting program for the whole family with free admission. True to this year’s motto #myheartbeatsisland, it will make the hearts of visitors beat faster in its 41st edition. On a small scale, around 170 partners from art, culture and business as well as employees got in the mood for the festival at the traditional #dif24 welcome party at the Cobenzl winery. Also there was Vienna’s mayor, Dr. Michael Ludwig, a visitor to the Danube Island Festival from the very beginning.

We were called to the #dif24 welcome party Mayor Dr. Michael Ludwig and Barbara Novak, state party secretary of the SPÖ Vienna, together with Matthias Friedrich, Managing Director of the Pro Event Team for Vienna and project manager of the Danube Island Festival, as well as Kurt Wimmer, Chairman of the Vienna Cultural Service Association, all guests are warmly welcomed. This year’s Rock The Island Contest winners provided musical highlights NNOA, The Most Company and Jacob Elias as well as Stella Maria Barghoutythe winner of the first Rock The Island 4 Kids Contest.
