A great lighthouse that impressively proves what we stand for in Vienna: for social cohesion, an affordable and modern Vienna and for treating each other with respect. After three brilliant days on the Danube Island, I would like to say a big thank you to the visitors, the many helpers, the organizers and the numerous employees. Without them, the Danube Island Festival would not exist in this shape and size!”

Many thanks to the many people who, for weeks and months, have done everything with tireless effort to ensure that Europe’s largest free outdoor festival could take place smoothly and peacefully. The Danube Island Festival has been with me since I was a child and every year I am amazed at what the Donauinselfest family puts on here year after year. I’m already looking forward to #dif25!”
Matthias Friedrich, Managing Director of the Pro Event Team for Vienna and project manager of the Danube Island Festival: “Many thanks to the many visitors who filled the Danube Island Festival with so much joy, fun and solidarity over the past three days.
