Vienna (OTS) – Welcome to the 602nd edition of “Welcome Austria” as part of DIE.NACHT on Tuesday, March 5, 2024, at 10 p.m. on ORF 1 – and from 8 p.m. on on.ORF.at and in the TVthek app Stermann and Grissemann include the Austrian musician and actress Anja Plaschg, known under her stage name “Soap&Skin”, and the German comedian, musician and actor Teddy Teclebrhan. In addition, the satirical duo has once again brought together the nation’s most critical political observers with the group of young editors-in-chief and is once again delivering the gag fire work of the week. Maschek perform their virtuoso synchro comedy and “Die Tuesday Night Chapel” really performs. The German comedian with Eritrean roots Teddy Teclebrhan has built up a large regular and television audience with his “Teddy Show” and has been hosting the “Teddy Teclebrhan Show” since February. Many people may also know the German comedian from Michael “Bully” Herbig’s “LOL – Last One Laughing” or as the presenter of “One Mic Stand”. Who laughs last in the talk with the two “Welcome Austria” hosts Stermann and Grissemann will be revealed on Tuesday.
Anja Plaschg had little to laugh about in the critically acclaimed historical shocker “Des Teufels Bad”, which just caused a stir at the Berlinale and won the Viennese cameraman Martin Gschlacht a Silver Bear. In the psychodrama by Veronika Franz and Severin Fiala, co-financed by ORF as part of the film/television agreement, about a young woman in the 18th century who wants to break out of her forced marriage and becomes a murderer, the musician, singer, known as Soap&Skin, plays Composer, producer and actress the female lead. Anja Plaschg also contributed the music to “Des Teufels Bad”.
