Andi Schweiger and Frank Oehler return to the screens as “The Cooking Professionals”. And they bring a lot of new things with them. In pairs, they stop by the restaurants and give valuable tips to give the restaurants a new lease of life. In the new episode, the cooking professionals support a Munich tavern colleague. After a five-year break, the cooking professionals are back! Due to the challenges of the corona pandemic, a lack of staff and rising prices, the catering industry is facing major hurdles. One of their most demanding assignments awaits Andi Schweiger and Frank Oehler: a traditional inn in the middle of Munich, whose owner Klaus urgently needs help. There are problems in the team, the guests are not coming and the reviews on the internet are getting worse and worse. Klaus has already invested a lot in his restaurant, but he can no longer do it alone. The cooking professionals have five days to give new impetus and get the inn back on track.

For 14 years, RTLZWEI’s motto was “The cooking professionals – working on the stove”. Now it’s time for a comeback! After a break, Andi Schweiger and Frank “Fo” Oehler are now coming to Germany’s restaurants as a duo to give them a hand. The program concept was renewed. The two chefs have now been on site for five days, can get a better idea of ​​how the operators work, are even closer to the action and can act even more authentically. The visit is now also like a challenge for the two of them, because they no longer have an advantage in knowledge. You are thrown into the deep end and only get to know the operators and the company on site. This way they can build a better relationship with their “protégés”. More days on site also means longer broadcast time: the one-hour show now becomes a two-hour one!
