Karlsruhe / Dortmund (ots) – Ready for the highlight of the year in veterinary medicine? DeutscheVET 2024 is the place-to-be for veterinarians, veterinary specialists and everyone who is passionate about animal health. With over 2,200 trade visitors and conference participants as well as around 90 exhibitors, the focused 2-day event promises to be a unique experience again in 2024. DeutscheVET is the optimal platform for encounters and exchanges in veterinary medicine.
Top-class speakers and a variety of topics
In three conference rooms – two for veterinarians and one for veterinary assistants, organized by Dr. Holger Volk from TiHo Hannover and an EXPO STAGE, DeutscheVET 2024 offers a diverse program with international speakers. From social media in veterinary medicine to practice management to specialist topics such as endocrinology and emergency medicine, there is something for everyone.
In addition to specialist lectures such as those from Dr. Ana Nemec on dentistry or from Dr. Steffenzeugswetter on emergency medicine, DeutscheVET also offers practical workshops, organized by Dr. Stephanie Kahl – VetExcursion including on the topic of cardiology. These workshops allow participants to expand their expertise and learn from experienced experts. Our new corporate educational partner IDEXX will also be there for the first time with its own educational room.
Henning Wilts, Dr. Lisa Leiner and Dr. Stephanie Kahl are just some of the top-class speakers who will share their knowledge: With “Social media belongs in every veterinary practice” Henning Wilts shows how veterinary practices can use the free platforms to retain regular customers, gain trust and convince new customers. He gives practical tips for a professional online presence. Dr. Lisa Leiner sensitizes participants to the topic of stress and provides strategies for reducing stressful situations in everyday practice. Your lecture “Stress management in practice” offers valuable impulses for dealing with stress. Dr. Stephanie Kahl supports veterinarians and TFA in returning to practice. Your lecture “Reentry made easy” offers practical tips and strategies for a successful new beginning.

- endocrinology -Dr. Florianzeugswetter and Dr. Marion Schmicke will give lectures on current developments and diagnostic options in endocrinology.
- Dentistry -Dr. Ana Nemec talks about the latest trends and treatment options in veterinary dentistry.
- Orthopedics -Dr. In his lecture, Richard Meeson addresses modern diagnostics and therapeutic approaches in orthopedics.
- Kidney disease/blood pressure -Dr. In her lecture, Barbara Glanemann deals with kidney diseases and the connection with blood pressure problems.
- Emergency medicine -Dr. Dominic Barfield and Ms Belinda Andrews-Jones present case studies and emergency procedures in veterinary medicine.
