DEAC & DLC data centers strengthen their position in Northern Europe with the new Delska brand

Riga, Lettland (ots/PRNewswire) DEAC and Data Logistics Center (DLC) are celebrating 25 years of data center and network expertise by merging into a common brand, Delska. This strategic combination will benefit businesses by providing advanced solutions for reliably operating IT infrastructure and networks across multiple locations.

Both companies have been part of the Baltic Rezo Group since 2020, which is owned by the Swiss Quaero European Infrastructure Fund II and managed by Quaero Capital to accelerate the development and expansion of infrastructure. The legal entities remain the same.

Andris Gailitis, CEO of DEAC and DLC, comments: “We are embarking on an exciting rebranding journey that includes closer collaboration between companies and an expanded service portfolio to meet the IT challenges of our customers from over 40 countries. The focus of the new brand is on customers and the personal approach to their business. Our strength lies in tailor-made solutions for specific business and industry requirements.”

Delska’s values are openness, flexibility and reliability. Both companies continue to prioritize safety, quality and sustainability by using HVO’s green energy and Neste MY diesel for backup generators.

The AI boom, increasing demand for large-scale data processing, edge and high-power computing have accelerated the construction of data centers. To address the lack of electricity capacity in major European centers, a new 10 MW data center is currently being built in Latvia. It will be one of the most sustainable in the region, with LEED and Tier III certifications, and is scheduled to be operational in 2025. Flexible options of up to 100 kW per rack and 1000 racks are available for pre-orders, and the construction project can be customized by expanding up to 50 MW.

Delska’s growth plans include building a new data center in Lithuania and adding more players to the group soon to build a strong regional data center and network ecosystem. Several of our own data centers in Riga and Vilnius as well as branches in Frankfurt, Amsterdam and Stockholm ensure customer business continuity through disaster recovery solutions.

Delska offers a full range of IT services – cloud, dedicated servers, security, network solutions and managed services. “In addition to the current deployment of virtual machines on our self-service platform designed for SMBs, developers and startups, this year we will implement an immediate bare metal service to further simplify the lives of IT staff “, emphasizes A. Gailitis.
