Invitation to the press conference on January 30, 2024
Berlin (ots) – On January 30th, GEMA and SACEM will present a study commissioned by Goldmedia on the topic of “Generative AI and Music”. For the first time, the extensive study offers a factual basis for an in-depth look at generative artificial intelligence as reflected in copyright law and creative work. By joining forces with the French collecting society SACEM, the study provides important insights from a European perspective.

The rapid development of generative artificial intelligence presents authors of music and other creative works with fundamental upheavals and new challenges.
GEMA and its French sister company SACEM will publish a study on generative AI and music at a hybrid press conference on January 30th.
