Life’s work to George Nussbaumer
It is already clear that George Nussbaumer will receive the “Sound@V” 2024 for his life’s work. The passionate musician has been at home on international concert stages for more than four decades.
Nussbaumer began taking piano lessons and band projects at a young age. He financed his first two albums with his own music and made a name for himself at numerous appearances. In 1996 the musician’s career changed significantly:
With his song “Weil’s dr guat got” he achieved a top ten placement at the “Eurovision Song Contest” in Oslo. Whether with BB King or Joe Cocker – Nussbaumer has shared the stage with many greats from the music scene in his career, works with well-known local artists and founded the “Randy Newman Project”. In addition to music, the well-respected Alberschwender discovered his enthusiasm for cabaret and brought several programs to the stage. Over the course of his music career, the father of one daughter and grandfather of two released a total of nine albums.

At the awards ceremony from 8:15 p.m., the audience can look forward to a colorful mix of live music, exciting interviews, awards and band portraits. The music acts Fiesta Forever, Cordoba78, Julia Zischg, Gardens and Pia Denz will be able to be experienced live.
