Cult Film: TV comedy “We didn’t bring you like that” (AT)

The last flap of the new TV comedy was made by success author Uli Brée (“Biester”, “Vorstadtweiber”, and much more) in Vienna on April 15, 2025. “We did not bring you like that” (AT) – made by Cult Film in co -production with the ORF and the BR – was realized by director Michael Kreihsl (“The Wonder Exercise”), who cleverly staged comedies of this format. In front of Carsten Thiele’s sensitive camera (“Andrea can be divorced”, “Anna Fucking Molnar”), the audience favorites Brigitte Brigitte Hobmeier, Gerti Drassl, Thomas Mraz, Wolfgang Böck, Roland Silbernagl and Carmen Gratl as well as star young people Alina Schaller and Julian Pichler in top form.

“The film is currently in post -production and we can promise: this will be great entertainment television”the Cult Film producer is happy: Burkhard Ernst and Katharina Ernst. The production of a feature film is always a special logistical challenge that only works in a team, says Burkhard Ernst, who can look back on over 30 years of production. He knows what good cooperation means, which is particularly important in difficult times, as they are currently in the film industry. “Cast, Crew and our partners ORF and BR work highly professional and were passionate about realizing a great film. That was successful”emphasizes the producer. The team of Cult Film is very important to comedies that entertain the audience and give him a good mood. Accordingly, other projects with well -known author: inside and director: inside: inside.

“We did not bring you like this” (AT) is expected to be shown in ORF 2 and on ORF.ON and as part of film Wednesday in the first.

To the film:

Balbina (Brigitte Hobmeier) and Inka (Gerti Drassl) believe that they have done everything right. Her daughter Hedwig (Alina Schaller), the product of pure love and artificial fertilization, has behaved as a politically correct model child all her life. Until now. Because the two mothers do not yet know that someone has kicked in Hedwig’s life who turns the perfect, queer family upside down: a man. Hedwig did not exist in her previous love life or in a father role. When Hedwig wants to introduce her Andreas (Julian Pichler) and turn out that the two also want to get married, the emotional chaos is perfect. It’s good that Edgar (Thomas Mraz), the best friend of the family, rushes around to smooth the waves. It is bad that Andreas’ parents, Petra (Carmen Gratl) and Dietmar (Roland Silbernagl), also travel from Tyrol and present their view of things. Even the neighboring Beislwirt Toni (Wolfgang Böck) adds his mustard. A fast -paced game with unexpected meetings, colliding worldviews and values, in which the question of Hedwig’s organic father is only one of the numerous family secrets that urge the surface.

“We did not bring you like that” (AT) was made by Cult Film GmbH in Koproduktion with ORF and BR as well as with the support of FISA+ and the Filmfonds Vienna and according to the guidelines UZ76 Green Producing.
