One of the largest culinary festivals in Austria with over thirty individual events in 17 days is organized by the Klagenfurt am Wörthersee tourism association with partners from gastronomy and economy. Success secret is the mix of publicly effective events such as that “Slow Food Markt Medium Carinthia & Wine from Carinthia” (September 06) in the Ossiacher Hof and the “Alpen-Adria pleasure mile” (18th to 20th September) in downtown Klagenfurt and as well as numerous cooking events around it.
Foodies and friends of the Alpen-Adria kitchen are excited about who will spoil them this year. Among other things, 2025 are included: Koch in 2021 – Max Stiegl (Gut Purbach), Cook of 2025 – Hannes Müller (The trout), restaurateur of 2024 – Josef Mühlmann (Gannerhof). In addition, there are David Zefran (Restaurant Milka) and Janez Bratovž (JB Restaurant), Michelin-star chefs from Slovenia or from Italy Michelin like Giuliano Baldessari (Aqua crua) and Gabriella Devetak (Lokanda Devetak), Slow Food cook. They are supported by the excellent chefs of the leading Gastroszene Klagenfurt Gastroszen.
The round is opened with the 6. Slovenian evening – the established network meeting of trendy entrepreneurs and politics. This year the New Julian Alps Trail. premiere Celebrate the Slow Food Medium Carinthia market and wine from Carinthia im Ossiacher Hof am 06. September.
Final highlight will be again this year Alpen-Adria pleasure mile from September 18 to 20 Around the new and old place, in which 46 pleasure craftsmen and exhibitors from the Alpen-Adria are presenting space with their goods and delicacies and invite you to shout.
In 2025 it will be several again “Alpen-Adria Labor” with Philipp a twin and Suzanne Bernhardt give this time with a “k. and k. steam kitchen”, “seasons on ice” and “unusual fruits”. Old master and gastrosopher Lojze Wieser is immersed in the “flavor archeology” in “Wald & Wiesen” and at the Wieser and Drava publishing evening Present the “taste wedding IV”.
