Women in Austria earn 18.4 percent less than men – per hour! Two-thirds of the gap is not caused by structural disadvantage, but is probably directly attributable to pay discrimination. The NEW wage transparency is intended to provide clarity here.
What causes the wage gap and how can wage transparency NEW contribute to closing the gender pay gap? What challenges but also what opportunities does the NEW wage transparency pose for Austria as an SME country? What benefits do companies have from transparent pay cultures?
