Details on the ORF 2 program on March 3rd

8:15 p.m.: “The interview. Questions to the new government “

Susanne Schnabl and Armin Wolf ask for prime time in “The interview. Questions to the new government “Christian Stocker, Andreas Babler and Beate Meinl-Reisinger in the Federal Chancellery for a conversation. The government program of the first ÖVP-SPÖ-NEOS coalition is extensive, the projects are ambitious. But what can be implemented, given a not inconsiderable budget hole? How do savings projects and investments go together in the future? What has to be addressed first and how far do the projects go into a future beyond legislative periods?
Only some of the questions that Susanne Schnabl and Armin Wolf expect from the party leader – in the first interview with the new government leaders.

21.10 URR: “Report Special”

Marie-Claire Zimmermann presents a “Report Special” with the following topics:

The analysis
The first analysis of the big ORF interview with Federal Chancellor Christian Stocker, Vice Chancellor Andreas Babler and Foreign Minister Beate Meinl-Reisinger. Eva Linsinger and Thomas Hofer live live in the studio.

Angelobt
With the angry in the Hofburg, the longest government phase in the second republic has come to an end. ÖVP, SPÖ and NEOS presented the key points in an extensive government program. Nevertheless, there are no essential details for many points, such as the planned public prosecutor. Martin Pusch, Emanuel Liedl and Stefan Daubrawa about the new government and the planned projects.

Limited scope
A liberal party in Austria has never been in a government, now the Neos has managed to become part of the first three coalition. The pinks understand themselves as reformers and see themselves as a party of progress. Already when it was founded they wanted to “raise wings”. However, due to the budget position, only a renovation course will be based on the ÖVP and SPÖ in the next few years. One thing is certain: Not all pinks are fire and flame for the first government participation in the federal government. Sophie-Kristin Hausberger and Helga Lazar have listened to the party base.

Blauer carnival
After the punishment of the FPÖ to move into the Chancellery for the first time, wounds have to be licked and targeting new goals. The elections in Vienna are imminent and so the Viennese Blauen have chosen the Gallic village as the motto of their carnival parade. When Asterix and Obelix disguised, the party groups around Dominik Nepp in Simmering demonstrate their resistance to the majority of Red Vienna. While the triple coalition is to be praised quickly before the carnival day in order to avoid involuntary comedy, criticism is already in the blue ranks. What do the voters of the FPÖ say about the new government? Should Herbert Kickl have been more compliant? Or can you hope for the next election success? Laura Franz and Sabina Riedl report.

9:45 p.m.: “Pictures of a list”

Karl Nehammer, Andreas Babler, Beate Meinl -Reisinger – the coalition negotiations started in this line -up. After NEOS left the negotiating table, the ÖVP got out of the negotiations shortly afterwards. Karl Nehammer resigned as a chancellor and ÖVP party leader, Christian Stocker has taken over. At the table with him: Herbert Kickl. This constellation is also broken, including mutual blame. And now ÖVP-SPÖ-Neos. Fritz Dittlbacher stated what happened behind the scenes in these five months. The result can be seen in the documentary “Images of a list”.

10:35 p.m.: “ZiB 2”

A “ZIB 2” presented by Margit Laufer ends the day in ORF 2.

Any other program changes are continuously announced.
