The Energy Alliance Austria- Austria’s leading energy sales and trading company- is actively working on the energy future. Together with companies across Austria, innovative and sustainable green electricity solutions are implemented. More than 84 percent of customers have already chosen a clean CO2 balance. The proportion of electricity products from renewable energy in the overall portfolio of the Energie Allianz Austria has risen by 65 percent to 4.4 terawatt hours since 2020. This amount of green electricity corresponds to about half of the electricity consumption that the city of Vienna needs a year. Customers of the Energy Alliance Austria save 1.3 million tons of CO2 a year.
Top companies rely on EAA green electricity
Thanks to innovative approaches and first-class service, well-known companies such as the telecom corporations A1 and Magenta, the food group Agrana, ÖBB, Bank Austria and ORF trust the CO2-free energy delivery. “Transparency, quality and service are the basis of a partnership-based customer relationship. We contribute to the success of our customers,” says EAA Managing Director Thomas Pucharski.

From CO2-free energy delivery to the marketing of green electricity, generation plants in the entire federal territory offers energy alliance Austria interesting options. With our green electricity subsidiary, we enable all customer segments-from private households to the large industry-to obtain simple, safe and favorable green electricity of the very best quality. We offer all electricity products in hydropower product quality “EAA-Aqua” or in the eco-product quality “100 % green electricity from Austria”. Many of our most well-known customers are already using our top product quality “Naturstrom” (UZ46). This corresponds to the highest green electricity quality class, which is available in Austria. Product innovations and “AB-Hof sale” of electrical energy
Especially among large customers, we watch the trend towards green electricity solutions. For example, in the context of bilateral innovative contracts such as the PPAs or the EAA-Power pooling, in which companies can distribute their electricity to several locations. Formulated somewhat exaggerated, we enable our customers to sell electrical energy. This means that we offer all companies a tailor-made marketing of new or existing renewable energy systems.
