The STARMUS Festival, held in Bratislava in collaboration with Slovak cybersecurity giant ESET, announced the winners of the Stephen Hawking Medal for Science Communication, which recognizes individuals for their exceptional contributions to science communication. The awards ceremony was held in conjunction with the Sonic Universe Concert, which featured performances by The Offspring as well as Laurie Anderson, Tony Hadley and other guests. The medals were presented by STARMUS co-founders Garik Israelian, PhD, and Brian May, PhD.
