Christoph Return confirmed as the top candidate of Neos Vienna

NEOS Vienna chose their top candidate for the Vienna election in 2025: Vienna’s Vice Mayor and Neos Vienna State spokesman Christoph Return was confirmed with 90.4% and leads Neos to the upcoming Vienna election.

Over 300 members took part in the decision in the Ottakringer brewery and thus underlined the broad back hold for continuing government work. NEOS go to the choice as a closed and determined team and continue to rely on education, integration, innovation and courageous reforms.

Return emphasized: “We have shown in recent years that a policy that relies on transparency, progress and a sense of responsibility improves Vienna sustainably. As a government party, we have initiated and implemented many necessary reforms. This can also be seen in the consent of the Viennese population at our joint course. Our goal is to continue this honest work and to lead Vienna with courageous reforms into the future. The city needs a policy that does not manage, but designs. We are ready to take on responsibility and implement the changes that Vienna deserves. “

The lists for the upcoming members of the community and state parliament were also created in an open and transparent process.

The election campaign cost limit was reduced to 5 million euros, and sharp sanctions for exceeding ensure that no party can handle the specifications with impunity. In addition, the election campaign costs must be published before the election, so that citizens are given full insight into the financial resources of the parties. An independent auditor controls compliance with the rules and ensures maximum transparency.
