This milestone marks a new phase in Changan’s “Vast Ocean Plan” and underlines the company’s commitment to technological innovation and sustainability. At the event, Changan presented the Deepal S07 as well as the Chang-An E07 and the Deepal S05 in Europe for the first time in Europe, whose market launch is planned for a later date. With its top technologies in the areas of intelligence and electrification, Changan fulfills European demand for high -performance electric vehicles.
The technological innovation of Changan is viewed worldwide and is promoted by a global, cooperative F&E system that includes six countries and ten locations. With over 18,000 employees in research and development from 31 countries and regions, 16 technology research and product development centers, 17 technology companies and 180 laboratories (including national laboratories), the company positions itself as an important player on the European market for electric vehicles.
As part of the market launch in Europe, Changan is pursuing a structured market entry strategy that initially focuses on important markets for electric vehicles such as Norway, Denmark, Germany, the Netherlands and Great Britain. By 2028, the company plans to be present in all important European markets. The European headquarters in the Netherlands will serve as a central hub for business activities. The headquarters of the sales company is located in Munich, Germany. The company currently employs around 500 specialists across Europe, including experienced designers and engineers from Italy and Great Britain. The company would like to further expand its local talent pool in order to promote innovations and deepen the market engagement.
