Cesár Sampson, Sasa Schwarzjirg and Marc Pircher as jury for the second edition of “The Big Chance – Let’s Sing and Dance”

22 talents sing and dance for five semifinal tickets on March 15th on ORF 1

Vienna (OTS) Austria shows what it can do! This can also be seen in the second edition of “The Big Chance – Let’s Sing and Dance” on Friday, March 15, 2024, at 8:15 p.m. on ORF 1. Fanny Stapf and Andi Knoll welcome 22 new talents to the big DGC stage. No matter what genre, whether solo or in a group – they present what they have to offer vocally and in dance on the largest TV stage in the country. But who will hit the heart and convince the three-person jury? This time it consists of musician and “Dancing Stars” runner-up Cesár Sampson, television presenter Sasa Schwarzjirg and pop singer Marc Pircher. The jury comments and rates the performances with up to three stars each. For particularly impressive performances, each jury member can directly award a ticket for the semi-final rounds with the “Heart Buzzer”. All talents who can get at least seven stars will have a chance at one of five semi-final places at the end of the show “The Big Chance” – and therefore also a chance to win 50,000 euros.

Cesár Sampson: “I see my task, of course, on the one hand as identifying the acts that can benefit most from the ‘big opportunity’, but on the other hand also as showing those who didn’t make it this time that their talent has been seen and they should continue to work on their craft and their dreams. Austria is full of talent, full of potential and the next generation is about to jump onto the big stages!”

Sasa Schwarzjirg: “The concentrated load of talent really surprised me. If you miss the talent in Austria, you will see in this show: There is enough there. However, it takes big stages like ‘The Big Chance’ for us to discover it. I can reveal this much: I shed tears and needed more than just a buzzer. I was really blown away.”

Marc Pircher: “I was able to experience a new perspective on ‘The Big Chance’. Being on the other side for once and not having to deliver myself was new and very interesting for me. It’s unbelievable how many undiscovered talents there are – definitely worth seeing!”
