“When I look here in the ranks of the state session, it is a look into the world,” said Governor Johanna Mikl-Leitner today, Saturday, at the ceremony of the Austro-Austrian World Federation, which took place in the course of the World Bund Conference in St. Pölten.
“They came to St. Pölten from all over the world – from the USA and Canada, from Brazil and Uruguay. It is a confirmation that they are all world citizens. But they are also Europeans, real Austrians, Tyroleans, Salzburg and Lower Austrians. Nobel Prize ”, she continued and informed the guests about the declared goal of Lower Austria to preserve a Nobel Prize:“ We support top forces, top performance and clever minds by investing a lot in science and research. In addition, we have built up a strong science axis in Lower Austria, which extends from Krems via Wiener Neustadt, St. Pölten and Wieselburg to Klosterneuburg with ISTA. ” While scientists are confronted with restrictions in America or other parts of the world, Lower Austria creates ideal framework conditions for the best heads in the world, underlined Mikl-Leitner.
In the course of the ceremony, Dr. Christine Moderbacher with the award for the “Austro Austrian of 2025”, but she could not take part in the celebration due to illness. At the ceremony, among other things, Nikolaus Marschik also spoke out foreign Austrian World Association President Werner Götz and Secretary General for Foreign Affairs. The ceremony was musically designed by the “Trio Terzetto”.
