Tokio (ots/PRNewswire) – Casio Computer Co., Ltd. announced today that it will offer a limited edition of 2,000 VIRTUAL G-SHOCK NFTs (Non-Fungible Tokens) for sale on December 15th. The NFTs feature images of the G-SHOCK brand, depicted as futuristic, shock-resistant watches in a virtual space. In advance of the start of sales, distribution of the G-SHOCK CREATOR PASS will begin on November 28th, which offers holders, among other things, preferential rights when purchasing.
In September 2023, Casio launched the “VIRTUAL G-SHOCK” project, which enables communication in a virtual space and serves as a point of contact with Generation Z and other new users. Initially, free G-SHOCK CREATOR PASS NFTs were distributed, allowing the Allowed holders to participate in the community on Discord.*(1) The first release of 15,000 limited edition NFTs was fully distributed within six hours, and a number of co-creative projects were also carried out.

On December 15th, the VIRTUAL G-SHOCKG-SHOCK NFTs, inspired by the theme of futuristic G-SHOCK shockproof structures, will be available for sale as part of a new development of the VIRTUAL G-SHOCK project.
Two different design patterns are offered: The VGA-001 features a balloon concept in which a colorful G-SHOCK covered in balloons dances freely. The VGA-002, on the other hand, features a leaf spring concept that represents a G-SHOCK with a futuristic shockproof structure that uses the power of springs to powerfully absorb shock.
In advance of the start of sales of the VIRTUAL G-SHOCK NFTs, additional G-SHOCK CREATOR PASS NFTs will be distributed free of charge from November 28th, enabling participatory access to the community. The G-SHOCK CREATOR PASS NFTs were very well received when they first launched. Holders will receive preferential treatment when purchasing VIRTUAL G-SHOCK NFTs during the pre-sale period.
