About woom

woom is an internationally active children’s and youth bicycle manufacturer based in Klosterneuburg near Vienna (Austria). The company was founded in 2013 by bicycle-loving fathers Christian Bezdeka and Marcus Ihlenfeld in a garage in Vienna. Since they couldn’t find the perfect bike for their children on the market, they decided to design and build it themselves. With low weight, timeless design, high-quality components and geometry tailored to the needs of children, woom sets new standards for premium children’s bikes. Within just a few years, woom went from an insider tip to a market leader in Austria. Today woom is known far beyond the borders of Austria. In over 30 countries – including the USA – kids and teens cycle on woom bikes.
