The international day of Care, also known as Nursing Day or International Nurses Day, is celebrated annually on May 12, the birthday of Florence Nightingale, the pioneer of modern nursing. In Austria, where a care reform was passed in 2022 and where it was further financially supported in the previous year, there are also some calls for this this year.
