Candidate parties that have submitted state election proposals

According to the immediate reports from the state electoral authorities, the following campaigning groups have submitted election proposals in all state constituencies up to the date stated (the short names are in brackets):

• Karl Nehammer – The People’s Party (ÖVP)

• Social Democratic Party of Austria (SPÖ)

• Freedom Party of Austria (FPÖ)

• NEOS – The reform force for your new Austria (NEOS)

• The Greens – The Green Alternative (GREEN)

• The Beer Party (BEER)
• None of them (NONE)
• Communist Party of Austria – KPÖ Plus (KPÖ)
• Liste Madeleine Petrovic (LMP)

The party names are listed in alphabetical order unless they refer to the parties represented in the National Council.

Furthermore, the following election groups have submitted state election proposals in individual state constituencies:

In Burgenland:

• List GAZA – Voices against Genocide (GAZA)
• The YELLOWS (BGE)

In Lower Austria, Upper Austria, Styria, Tyrol, Vorarlberg and Vienna:

• List GAZA – Voices against Genocide (GAZA)
• MFG – Austria People – Freedom – Fundamental Rights (MFG)

In Salzburg:

• MFG – Austria People – Freedom – Fundamental Rights (MFG)

The compilation only includes those campaigning groups that appear to have submitted a legally compliant election proposal.

The state electoral authorities will publish the election proposals that have been checked and found to be valid by August 8, 2024 at the latest. The order of publication is then decisive for the ranking of the party names on the individual ballot papers.
