CAMPARI CURATES AN UNFORGETTABLE LAUNCH PARTY AT THE CANNES FILM FESTIVAL: THE CAMPARI CINÉMATHÈQUE ON CAMPARI’S HYDE BEACH

Cannes, France (ots/PRNewswire) The iconic red bitters brand hosted The Campari Cinémathèque at Hyde Beach by Campari, on Boulevard de Croisette. This red carpet party celebrated Campari’s third consecutive year as an official partner of the Cannes Film Festival and marked the launch of the global campaign We Are Cinema given.

The event was inspired by the brand’s new campaign, which shines a spotlight on life’s real moments that become remarkable stories. On this unforgettable evening, Campari took on the role of curator, Hyde Beach that of set design, and the guests and famous faces took center stage and became protagonists of their own story.

At Hyde Beach by Campari – right on the famous beach and in the heart of the iconic film festival – a spectacular event space in typical Campari style has been set up for the 77th festival.

The star-studded guest list celebrating with Campari included Adrien Brody, Victoria Justice, Marina Barbosa, Paz Vega, Cole Walliser, Ellen von Unwerth, Caro Daur, Rafa Kalimann, Jessica Wang, Nataly Osmann, Lady Victoria Harvey, Pierfrancesco Favino , Claudia Gerini, Saul Nanni, Malika Ayane and many more. Also present were Cole Walliser, who photographed the guests with his famous GLAMbot, and the well-known photographer German Larkin.

The Campari Cinémathèque event was structured as a series of shots – special shots, photo opportunities and actions – designed to immerse guests in a realistic film experience.

Take-to-Take’s journey took guests throughout the space, from the ground floor Campari Bar, with its mirrored ceiling and movie set lights, to the pier – a walkway over the water with lounge chairs and umbrellas.

Take 1 recreated the red carpet walk at a film premiere. A lighting installation mimicked the flash photography of a crowd of paparazzi, and surround sound reproduced the cacophony of camera clicks and pose requests. Guests were filmed by a real cameraman and the images were broadcast live on plasma screens throughout the room.

Take 2 revealed a photo opportunity in the Campari Bar – for a world-famous Negroni or Campari Spritz.

Take 3 placed guests in a real setting and gave them the experience of starring in an iconic Campari campaign.

Take 4 immersed guests in the unique sensory world of the Campari Room. Here, a human bartender meets artificial intelligence as guests are served a freshly made Negroni as they create their own extraordinary Campari & Cinema story.

Bei Take 5 Guests took on the role of the director and followed the action in Cannes via live stream on an impressive array of plasma screens on the Director’s Wall.

Take 6 is the Campari cinema. Guests took the stage on a 360-degree terrace, where they were precisely filmed by a Bolt robotic camera against the breathtaking backdrop of the Croisette and the Mediterranean Sea.

In Take 7 bartenders from four of the best bars in the world have created Campari cocktails that are sure to turn heads. The participating bars are Camparino in Galleria from Milan, Bar Nouveau from Paris, Salmon Guru from Madrid and Donovan from London. The Camparino team served guests a selection of iconic Campari cocktails, including the Negroni, Campari Spritz and the Negroni Sbagliato. In addition to these classic cocktails, the Camparino team served the Red Carpet – Cannes Edition: a fresh and salty cocktail inspired by the Cannes Riviera.

The last recording, the moment the party started. The lights went down, the cameras started rolling, and the music started… It was an unforgettable evening.
