With the ÖZIV Media Prize, which was launched in 2006, we as an interest group want to show how media reporting can make a contribution to promoting inclusion.

Vienna (OTS) – This year, the ÖZIV Federal Association will award the media prize for outstanding journalistic reporting on the subject of people with disabilities for the 18th time.
Print, online, radio and TV contributions that were published or broadcast in an Austrian medium between January 1st and December 31st, 2023 can be submitted. We are particularly pleased to receive contributions and articles on the topics of people with disabilities in the labor market, accessibility, women with disabilities and people with disabilities and art.

The submission deadline runs until the end of March 2024. A top-class jury (chairman: Prof. Fred Turnheim) will then determine the prize winners. The winners will receive the SCHUASCH statue designed by artist Rudi Pinter as well as 1,000 euros in prize money.
