Egger: Application from July 15th provides new impetus for the Austrian construction and craft sector
Vienna (OTS) – The craftsman bonus, which is granted for craft services in the private living area, represents important economic support. From July 15, 2024, craft businesses and private households can benefit from this funding, which applies retroactively from March 1, 2024.
“The craftsmen’s bonus is more than just a subsidy – it is an important signal to local businesses. It helps small and medium-sized businesses to recover after a challenging year and contributes to maintaining jobs,” said Economic Association Secretary General and Deputy. Z. No. Kurt Egger.
The incentive to use tradesmen’s services also specifically increases demand for local services. “The craftsmen’s bonus is an essential part of the federal government’s construction package, which helps to stimulate the construction industry and strengthen the economy. Every euro of the craftsmen’s bonus is an investment in the future of our economy,” concluded Egger.
