Built by Nature (BBN) is pleased to announce the start of its global price in 2025, with the exemplary applications of the Principles for Responsible Timber Construction are awarded in mostly wooden buildings. On April 7, the network will be opened for the application for grants for completed projects, including new buildings, renovations and significant extensions.
The prize awarded outstanding services in the implementation of the principles, and the winners will be announced at the annual Built by Nature Summit in October. The award -winning buildings are presented at top -class events and in a documentary that is premiered at COP, included in an international study trip and as examples of responsible timber construction on the website Built by Nature Knowledge Hub presented.
A committee of international experts from the entire value chain of the construction industry will assess the submissions on the basis of the agreement with the principles. The principles were developed by Built by Nature in cooperation with the Forest and Climate Leaders Partnership (FCLP), the Bauhaus Earth and other interest groups and form a common framework of requirements that should ensure that the timber construction industry can thrive sustainably.
By promoting projects that implement the principles in an exemplary manner, the price campaign demonstrates the political decision -makers and the construction industry the connection between responsible timber construction and positive effects on forests, biodiversity, climate and communities around the world.
