The Viennese FPÖ decidedly oppose the planned reconciliation of the historic Khleslplatz in Meidling and supports the citizens’ initiative, which defends itself against these area dedication plans. “The Khleslplatz is a historical jewel and one of the few preserved old structures in Meidling. The SPÖ now wants to – according to its well -known pattern – to create facts with a reconciliation to roll out the red carpet there, ”said the state party secretary of the FPÖ -Vienna and Meidlinger constituency candidate Lukas Brucker at today’s rally of the citizens’ initiative, in which hundreds of hereditary citizens took part.
In this approach, the FPÖ Vienna sees another example of the red friendship economy, which has dominated urban politics for decades. “We know these machinations enough – from the scandal project on Heumarkt to the property deals of the former residential building council and later Chancellor Faymann. It is always about the same: investors close to SPÖ collect, while the population has to live with the negative consequences of these construction projects, ”continued Brucker.
The FPÖ Vienna therefore calls for an immediate stop of the planned rededication and the preservation of the Khleslplatz in its historical form. “We are firmly at the side of the citizens. I can assure that we will fight against this project with all the funds available both in the district and in the local council, ”emphasizes the FPÖ state party secretary.
