Market share record in the youngest target group – continued on December 28th and 29th with episodes three to six – each from 8:15 p.m
Vienna (OTS) – Life itself writes the most exciting stories, as the highly successful start of the new, epochal ORF III history series “Austria – The Whole Story” shows yesterday, Wednesday, December 27, 2023. Overall, the first two episodes reached a wide audience of almost half a million, more precisely 498,000 viewers or 7 percent of the Austrian TV population aged twelve and over. On average, episode one – “Warrior and Builder” at 8:15 p.m. – was watched by 242,000, episode two – “The Reign of Hunger” at 9:05 p.m. – 235,000. The market shares in the 12+ viewing group were 9 and 10 percent. Usage was particularly strong in the younger target groups: 9 and 8 percent among 12-49 and an outstanding 16 and 21 percent among 12-29. The latter correspond to a market share record in the ORF III main evening.

Starting today, on Thursday, December 28th, the first season of “Austria – The Whole Story” will be continued – in double episodes starting at 8:15 p.m.: “The Master Thief” (3) and “Birth Pangs of a World City” (4), also “Hostages of the Cold” (5) and “The Big Money” (6) on December 29th, “The Witch Trial” (7) and “The Patient Zero” (8) on January 2nd and “The Golden Apple” ( 9) and “At the Scaffold of Freedom” (10) on January 3rd. The second season is already in development.
