Brigitte Ederer re -elected ÖBB Supervisory Board President

• Constituent meeting of the new supervisory board of the ÖBB Holding has taken place
• 50 % women’s quota in the top control body of the train

The recently newly appointed members of the Supervisory Board of the ÖBB Holding came together on Monday, June 16, to their first session. The most important point on the agenda was the election of the Presidium. The twelve supervisory board members elected the previous President Brigitte Ederer again as chairman of the Supreme Control committee of the ÖBB. The long-time Siemens boss is at the head of the ÖBB Supervisory Board for the third time. The general director of the coin Austria, Gerhard Starsich, was chosen as 1st deputy, the 2nd deputy was the Swiss manager Nicolas Perrin, he is a member of the SBB Cargo’s board of directors. The 3rd deputy will again act Roman Hebenstreit, Chairman of the Works Council and head of the Vida union.
