Brandl Tatos advised the Austrian Cleanetech company ECOP Technologies GmbH as part of a Series B-Financing round.
The EUR 10.5m financing round was led by the German pump and dash manufacturer KSB Company, and the EIC- European Innovation Council Fund (EICF), Innoenergy, New Energy Technology LTD, Finadvice AG and numerous inventory investors took part.
ECOP has developed a rotary heat pump, which enables energy -efficient heat recovery in industry by using a gas mixture as a working medium and the use of rotation technology.
With the new capital, the company wants to expand its production capacities and further develop the new rotor design for series production.
The Brandl Tatos team consisted of Adrian Schümmann and Lara Präthaler. KSB was advised by Ey Law Austria – Pelzmann Gall Grand Rechtsanwälte GmbH. Schönherr Attorney’s at Law advised the European Innovation Council Fund. Innoenergy was represented by WMWP Rechtsanwälte GmbH.
