The annual BÖTM top seminar starts in Velden am Wörthersee on October 2nd under the theme “Strong together: Cooperations for sustainable & resilient tourism”. The renowned and already fully booked event is the central forum for decision-makers in Austrian tourism and offers particularly exciting program items this year.
A special highlight is the presentation of the new positioning of the BÖTM destination network.

The other program highlights of the BÖTM Top Seminar 2024 include:
- Keynote „Creative Leadership“: In his keynote, Thomas Poschauko talks about the importance of creativity and shared vision in the midst of complex times.
- discussion: Shaping the future of tourism: Expectations and possibilities of cooperation in a tourism region. Industry experts Ing. Walter Veit (ÖHV), Michael Holiday (Styria Tourism), Veronika Scheffer (WKO Cable Car Association) and Mario Pulker (WKO Gastronomy Association) are discussing this.
- Workshops and best practice examples: Participants have the opportunity to work on the topics of AI, living space management and employer experience in interactive workshops and to view best practice examples from the tourism regions in and around Velden during excursions.
- Networking evenings: In a relaxed atmosphere, the evenings offer the opportunity to exchange ideas with colleagues and industry experts.
