The dinner took place as an official side event with the support of the UN IGF secretariat and brought together leading representatives of governments, multilateral organizations, blockchain and AI to promote dialogue through an integrative, ethical and interoperable digital infrastructure.
The event was led by Glenn Tan, director of global affairs at the BGA, and organized together with the SGIGF start-up members Henry Wang and Una Wang. The guests of honor included his excellence Dharambeer Gokhool, President of Mauritius, the Argentine MP Pamela Calletti, the Chilean Senator Kenneth Pugh as well as representatives of various UN organizations and national parliaments.
The focus of the evening discussion was the transformative role of the blockchain in the design of a trustworthy and collaborative global digital ecosystem.
