“Old wine in new hoses”, Jakob Schwarz, budget speaker of the Greens, calls the Federal Government’s measures presented today to combat inflation and boost the economy. Black further: “Many of the measures are already known to us from the budget or ministerial lectures, there is really little new.”
“Even where the government has announced new things today, as in the doubling of the investment allowance announced by Minister Hattmannsdorfer, questions about counter-financing could not be answered. In any case, the government is unpleasant for billions of climate-damaging subsidies, and even sensible energy efficiency grants should be canceled for the industrial current bonus,” says Schwarz.
Measures would be urgently needed: “We are clearly supporting the government’s goal of dampening and boosting inflation. But the government must finally do it, instead of continuing to continue to be announced: the ELEKRIGRIGITICHTWARTE Act, the Renewable Expansion Act or Renewal Gas Act are waiting for implementation,” says Jakob Schwarz.
