Vienna (OTS) – “Air Down” will be available on Saturday, May 25, 2024, at 8:15 p.m. on ORF 1: In the current “Simpl Revue,” the newly minted author duo Jennifer Frankl and Michael Niavarani take a cabaret-like journey through the central questions of today’s life . In the middle of the “Golden 20s” are we already on the way to the “Iron 30s”? Is the mood at its peak or already in the basement? Is it all just a question of perspective? The new “Simpl Revue” offers perspectives on these and many other entertaining and provocative questions that make the heaviness of life seem as light as a feather.
With great enthusiasm, it is shown how far-reaching the shortage of skilled workers is, how women’s soccer players counter stupid questions, why you can join climate gluers and what tricky situations a blackout can get you into. A show-ready alliance between Herbert Kickl, Alice Weidel and Giorgia Meloni also brings the legendary Simpl ensemble to the stage. With a mixture of a lot of satire and a few sparks of seriousness, the revue tries to find answers to some of the most pressing questions of our time. On stage are Katharina Dorian, Jennifer Frankl, Ariana Schirasi-Fard, Julian Loidl, Matthias Mamedof, Bernhard Murg and Joachim Brandl, who will also lead the evening as emcee. You can find out whether we are sitting out the “Iron 20s” or whether the “Roaring 30s” are already waiting for us by descending into the basement of entertainment.
