An evening that united music, emotion and hope: On August 30, 2025, the benefit concert found Smalling point of view For the first time in the large hall of the International Foundation Mozarteum Salzburg – and delighted a sold -out house with 775 visitors. The outstanding artists of the evening made the benefit concert a lasting experience. Kevin Conners, Tenor at the Bavarian State Opera, convinced not only with his distinctive voice, but also as a charismatic moderator. He opened the program with three songs by Richard Strauss. Emanuel Grafone of the most important cellists in his generation, with his Stradivari cello from 1690, an urgent sound world with pieces by Robert Schumann and Frédéric Chopin and was celebrated with long-lasting standing ovation. Special Guest set another glamorous climax David Garrett: The internationally celebrated violinist shone with classic repertoire by Johannes Brahms and caused real goosebumps with his virtuosity and expressiveness. With standing ovation and great gratitude, an evening ended that not only set the scale musically, but above all focused on strong cooperation.
The concert in Salzburg was already the third edition of the “Smalling Problem Moments”. The two previous events took place in Kitzbühel in 2023 and 2024 and were also sold out. The successful benefit series is also to be continued in 2026 – the audience can already look forward to the artists of the coming year.
