From June 1st, the Burgenland Card will be valid as a ticket on all public transport in Burgenland and offers around 350 free and bonus services
Burgenland (OTS) – True to the motto “Softly mobile”, overnight guests can use public transport free of charge throughout the entire state for the first time with the Burgenland Card. This means that guests can use all bus and train lines within the country free of charge during their stay in Burgenland, including the Burgenland Call Shared Taxi (BAST). In addition, lines B2 and B1 allow free travel to Graz or from Graz to southern Burgenland with the Burgenland Card.
Burgenland Card already enables free public travel to the partner company in Burgenland
The hosts have the option of sending the card digitally before arrival so that the guest can use it for public arrival on the day of arrival.

The Burgenland Card is available free of charge in around 680 partner companies in Burgenland and is valid for the duration of your stay. It offers around 350 free and bonus services that can be used nationwide. For example, numerous bathing lakes, outdoor pools and entry to the beaches and seaside resorts of Lake Neusiedl from north to south are included. Cultural institutions such as Esterházy Castle, Forchtenstein Castle, Schlaining Peace Castle and Güssing Castle can be visited free of charge with the Burgenland Card. The card also includes hikes in nature, culinary delicacies, visits to winemakers and significant discounts in thermal spas.
