Vienna (OTS) – In the current edition of the ORF night talk “Stöckl” on Thursday, May 16, 2024, at 11:05 p.m. on ORF 2, actress Uschi Glas, writer Robert Menasse, gerontologist Slaven Stekovic and ex-professional soccer player Viktoria Schnaderbeck will be guests of Barbara Stöckl:
“I was never a sweetheart,” says actress Uschi Glas in her 80th birthday biography of the same name. In the night talk “Stöckl” she explains why her cat was called Oliver Kahn, how much she influenced her parents’ political views and why she was so happy about her current role in the movie “Max and the Wild 7”.
“I draw my optimism from the hope that I’m not right in my pessimism,” says writer Robert Menasse in an interview with presenter Barbara Stöckl. In his most recent essay, “The World of Tomorrow,” he once again devotes himself to his favorite topic, Europe. In “Stöckl” he also talks about, among other things, his father Hans Menasse, who, as a professional footballer, had an offer from Arsenal that he could not accept.
The molecular biologist and longevity expert Slaven Stekovic deals intensively with the topic of aging. He has set himself the goal of living to 105 years – 25 years less than he could actually live according to his biological data. Because he gives the 25 years to enjoyment, as he reveals.
