Vienna (OTS) – The current edition of the ORF night talk “Stöckl” on Thursday, February 15, 2024 at 11 p.m. on ORF 2 will feature magician duo Thommy Ten and Amélie van Tass, Russia expert Gerhard Mangott, star chef and author Johann Lafer and forester Andrea Pirker visiting Barbara Stöckl:
Amélie van Tass and Thommy Ten enchant the world. The masters of mental magic are already part of the inventory in Las Vegas, and now they are coming to Austria with their new show. In the “Stöckl” night talk, the two world stars talk about their adopted home of Las Vegas, their new stage partner and also amaze the other guests with a short trick.
“I still have seven years and 26 days until retirement!” jokes political scientist Gerhard Mangott. In a conversation with Barbara Stöckl, the sought-after Russia expert also shows his personal side and explains, among other things, why he goes dancing with his partner, even if he doesn’t actually like dancing.
“A person’s character has a lot to do with how you dress, but also with what you eat,” says star chef and author Johann Lafer. He has experienced first-hand what nutrition can do to you, as he has freed himself from osteoarthritis with his medicinal cuisine. He shares his healthy recipes in his cookbook “Eating for Pain.”
Andrea Pirker is a forester and farmer who has stood up for “real” women as the new advertising face of a chainsaw manufacturer. “Forestry is female. We women have always been in the forest,” she emphasizes in the ORF Nighttalk. She also talks about her father’s upbringing and how he wanted to prepare her for a male-dominated industry.
