In the ORF night talk “Stöckl” on May 23rd at 11:05 p.m. on ORF 2

Vienna (OTS) Actor Sky du Mont, journalist and ORF presenter Alexandra Maritza Wachter, ski star Manuel Feller and cabaret artist Christof Spörk will be guests in the current edition of the ORF night talk “Stöckl” on Thursday, May 23, 2024 at 11:05 p.m. on ORF 2 with Barbara Stöckl:

For several years now, the internationally known actor and speaker Sky du Mont has also appeared as an author. In his latest book “I’m already looking forward to tomorrow. Because it will be like it has never been before,” the Buenos Aires-born film star now dares to take a courageous look into the future. In the night talk “Stöckl” he talks about his approach to technical innovations, his passion for TikTok and the confidence needed in pessimistic times.

Even as a child, Alexandra Maritza Wachter dreamed of a career at ORF. After starting out on Tyrolean regional television and at the private broadcaster Puls 4, the Tyrolean with Mexican-Vorarlberg roots has now been working as a journalist and “ZIB” presenter at ORF since 2022. In the autumn of the election, together with her colleague Susanne Schnabl, she will moderate the election duels and the big elephant round on the occasion of the National Council election. In addition to her work as a journalist, she is chairwoman of the women’s media network and advocates for equality and visibility for women.

The career of ski star Manuel Feller is also a success story. At the end of the last ski season, the Tyrolean, who is often affectionately referred to as a “colorful dog” by his colleagues in the ski circus, won the coveted Slalom World Cup ball. Things remain exciting not only from a professional perspective, but also from a private perspective: while on vacation in Jamaica, the self-confessed reggae fan made a romantic marriage proposal to his long-time partner. In an interview with Barbara Stöckl, he also speaks openly about the compatibility of work and family.

Cabaret artist and musician Christof Spörk not only wrote his new program “Eiertanz” for the stage, but also adapted it for the book market. The doctor of political science combines politics, language and music and deals with the question of how we, individually and socially, deal with the ambivalences of everyday life.
