In “Stöckl” on July 11th at 11:05 p.m. on ORF 2 and on ORF ON
Vienna (OTS) – In the summer, the ORF will show Dacapo’s special highlight programs from the night talk “Stöckl”, such as those with Klaus Maria Brandauer and Philipp Hochmair – two extraordinary actors – on Thursday, July 11, 2024, at 11:05 p.m. on ORF 2 and on ORF ON former and a current “Everyman” who were once teachers and students at the Max Reinhardt Seminar:
Klaus Maria Brandauer is one of the few German-speaking actors who have also made a career in Hollywood. The Styrian native, who received a Golden Globe for his role in “Out of Africa” and was nominated for an Oscar, always remained connected to his hometown of Altaussee. The passionate acting teacher also offered his students additional lessons there for many years.
Philipp Hochmair was one of the young actors who once appeared in the Altausseer Bergstollen under Klaus Maria Brandauer’s direction. Today the Viennese is one of the most sought-after actors in the country. How close is the 46-year-old, also known from the crime series “Blindly Investigated,” to his former teacher today?
