“CLEVER – the puzzle show” at 9:10 p.m

In this episode, Barbara Meier (model and actress) and Julian Kessler (university assistant at the University of Salzburg, Mensa Austria) play in “Team Brains”. They compete against “Team Clever”, which consists of Engelbert Tragschitz (energy trading consultant), Egmont Vogel (teacher) and Wilfried Becker (pharmacist). They play against each other in five rounds – in the areas of memory, orientation, perception, numbers and logic. It’s again a total of up to 10,000 euros. As usual, “Team Brains” donates its share of profits to LICHT INS DUNKEL.

“What’s new?” at 10:10 p.m

Laughter is pure energy! Following this wise advice, Oliver Baier and his advice team celebrate the energy holidays and recharge the audience’s feel-good batteries with gags and punch lines. Clemens Maria Schreiner, Katharina Straßer, Florian Scheuba, Lydia Prenner-Kasper and Viktor Gernot puzzle over what a “thermal nozzle” could be, why a resourceful entrepreneur packed pebbles in boxes and where to use a “foot chopper”. The celebrity question is asked by one of Austria’s most important living artists, Gottfried Helnwein: He wants to know why Édouard Manet cut up one of his pictures.
