The course offered by Bachelor Professional Tax Management, which was only launched in autumn 2023, has been established in the further training market in a very short time. With consistent practical orientation and academic quality, it offers the ideal basis for tax advice and financial management and is becoming more and more interested. 16 scholarship holder: Inside, as part of an informative panel discussion at the ASW, their certificate was accepted and probed their further career opportunities. The KSW supports the youngsters for the industry with over EUR 300,000.
In the winter semester 2023, the first cohort of students started their – completely new – training on the educational market: that of the FH Campus Vienna together with the tax consultant’s academy: Inside and auditors: Bachelor Professional Tax Management, which has been launched inside, has been a success story since then and supports the professionalization and further academization of the industry. 27 students are currently completing the program in the fourth semester, another 27 in the second semester and the application phase for the beginning with autumn 2025 has already started successfully. The great interest reflects the good job prospects of the industry: the career opportunities in the law firms are diverse and promising.
KSW supports the academization of the profession
On April 2, 16 Bpr. students from the second cohort, which started in autumn 2024, were able to accept their documents as a scholarship holder: inside. Because this university course is financially supported by the KSW (Chamber of Tax Advisors: Inside and Audit Officer: Inside). KSW President Herbert Houf on the reasons for the commitment of the chamber: “We also see a great demand for competent young people in tax advice and auditing. This range of courses with his practical relevance meets the needs of the industry, but also the wishes of the young students. This also proves the large number of interested parties: inside.” The study concludes a long-term gap, says Houf: “It connects high-quality academic training directly with professional practice and the preparation for the specialist exam in order to become tax consultants: in or an auditor: and we want to support this as a chamber,” said the KSW President, who also received very relevant topic for the students in the federal tax code and its regulations. The KSW has supported students who work in business loyalty law firms so far with a total of 44 scholarships with a total value of almost 325,000 euros. For autumn 2025, the KSW promises another 25 scholarships to promote young talent from its profession.
Sandra Allmayer, Managing Director of ASW, adds: “With the part -time Bachelor Professional Tax Management, we achieved the perfect combination between strong professional focus in the first two semesters at the ASW and science -related subject at the FH Campus Vienna. There is also the possibility to recognize previous knowledge.”

“Expectations more than fulfilled”
Marco Elsner, who is currently completing the fourth semester of the BPR Tax Management, also confirms the accuracy of the new educational offer. “My expectation that the study offers very good preparation for the tax consultant tests has fully fulfilled both in terms of content and method. The studies can be reconciled with his professional activity, but good time management is important. His personal goal is to also complete the Tax Management master’s program. Friedrich Stanzel from the FH Campus Vienna: “On a consecutive study program Master Professional Tax Consultant, which is intended to offer the graduate: inside the first year a logical continuation and deepening and thus even better preparation for a later tax consultant examination, is currently being worked on.”
The “art of auditing”
