Award ceremony to the winners of the MINT girls Challenge

On Tuesday, April 29, 2025, State Secretary for Energy, Startups and Tourismus Elisabeth Zehetner, Federal Minister of Women, Science and Research Eva-Maria Holzleitner, and the Vice Secretary General of the Industrial Association, Claudia Mischsky, will award the winners of the MINT Girls Challenge 2024/25.

The MINT girls Challenge (MINT stands for mathematics, computer science, natural sciences and technology) for the fourth time is a joint initiative of the Federal Ministry of Economics, Energy and Tourism (BMWET), the Federal Ministry of Women, Science and Research (BMFWF) and the Austrian Industrial Association (IV). Their goal is to break off role models and stereotypes and the enthusiasm and acquisition of children and adolescents with the topic “girls and young women in MINT subjects”.
