What role does religion play in politics, how is it exploited by right-wing extremists and what effects does this have on people who are affected by fears of decline?
The COMÚN Foundation is dedicating the second event in its series “Contested democracy“ in and with the Volkstheater Vienna the election campaign in the USA and its connections to the rise of right-wing extremists in Austria & Germany. Guests include journalist and author Annika Brockschmidt (including “America’s Holy Warrior”) and the economist and author Oliver Nachtwey (including “The Descent Society”).
