In the documentary, the Austrian Students’ Union (ÖH) critically examines the fascist history at Austria’s universities. With the participation of experts and contemporary witnesses to crucial moments in the history of Austrian universities, historical events and current structures that shape the academic space will be examined. The film was made over the last few months in collaboration between the ÖH and a film team consisting of Andreas Filipović, Samira Fux and Lukas Ellmer.
The premiere of the documentary will take place at the Stadtkino Wien on October 10th at 7:00 p.m. Further advance information, as well as interviews with the ÖH production team and the film team, are available upon request. The film’s premiere will be followed by further screenings on October 14th in Linz, October 16th in Innsbruck, October 21st in Leoben and October 23rd in Vienna.
