On Thursday, April 10, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. to 12:30 p.m., the transfer of a garbage vehicle to the Bosnian border town of Bihać will take place in the MA 48 (Lidlgasse 1–5, 1170 Vienna) technology center.
The vehicle is handed over by:
- Mag. Jürgen Czernohorszky, managing city councilor for climate, environment, democracy and staff of the city of Vienna
- In the presence of Petar Rosandić, chairman of the SOS Balkan route
- To Elvedin Sedić, Mayor of the City of Bihać
The handover is part of years of solidarity cooperation on the initiative of the SOS Balkan route and is intended to contribute to the municipal infrastructure of a city that has been taking responsibility for years and makes a central contribution to dealing with the escape movements on the Balkan route – often under the most difficult conditions and with very limited resources.
