magSince 2015, the HOTEL has been showing how an innovative, social hotel business works and providing concrete answers to the labor shortage through integration and training. The hotel allows refugees to become hosts and offers an opportunity to people who find it difficult to gain a foothold in the primary labor market. Around ten years after the start and a good two years after the move to Ungargasse, renovation work on the former pop-up hotel at Vienna’s Prater will begin in spring 2025, which will reopen in 2027 as a sustainably renovated second location.
