AI Act, DSA, NIS-2, DGA-The progressive digitization and the large number of new EU digital law acts sometimes make it difficult to find their way around the wealth of regulations. The Research Institute – Digital Human Rights Center with its pioneering research project ATLAWS now presents a publicly accessible platform on which relevant information about important legal files are bundled and prepared for use.
The aim of the Atlaws project is to provide organizations a quick overview of relevant regulations, guidelines and implementation laws and at the same time to provide deeper information on applicability, synergies, legal consequences and further material.
The project is based on a CO-Creation approach, in which numerous other renowned organizations such as the Austrian Institute of Technology, Ossbig, Austriatech, ISPA as well as Uniko and the Federal Ministry of Education, Science and Research, actively participated in workshops, were actively involved in relevance and to help shape the practical suitability of the tool. At the press conference on February 27, representatives of the local partner organizations will be on site to jointly present the results of the project.
“The project provides a ‘map’ to receive an accessible overall picture of the EU digital law file” describes project manager Dr. David M. Schneeberger, Ba Ba Ma. “We succeeded in creating a simply manageable platform with Atlaws,” says Ing. Dr. Christof Tschohl, scientific director of the Research Institute. “Because right that is not understood and applied remains ineffective.”
